Gippsland Physiotherapy Group Leongatha has provided high quality physiotherapy, massage therapy and clinical Pilates services for the past 14 years.
You’ll find our practice conveniently situated at 49 Bair Street in the commercial hub of Leongatha.
The practice features two consultation rooms and a Pilates studio room.

Rob Brownlow (Director) Rob obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy fromCharles Sturt Universityin Orange, NSW. Rob relocated from Newcastle after being offered a position with Gippsland Physiotherapy Group, working in our Leongatha practice and managing our Wonthaggi practice. Rob has extensive experience in Sports and Musculoskeletal conditions, as well as injuries resulting from severe trauma. Rob has been involved as a Physiotherapist at many National and International sports events including the 2017-2019 Gymnastics World Cup, 2019Gymnastics National Championships, 2019 Gymnastics Victoria Championships, 2018Commonwealth Games,IRONMAN Asia-Pacific Championshipsand the Australian Country Junior Basketball Championships. He has also worked for multiple sporting organisations including the Women’s VFL, International Basketball Federation – Oceania Region, NSW Basketball, VIC Netball and VIC Softball. Rob’s further qualifications include Sports Level 1 & 2, Dry Needling, Clinical Pilates, Drug and Alcohol Testing and Workplace Assessments. Rob enjoys mentoring new graduate physiotherapists as part of his role and regularly educates physiotherapy students seeking further experience. Rob enjoys playing tennis and walking his border collies down by the beach. He is an avid supporter of theMelbourne Football Club,Melbourne Stormand theWallabies.
Tanya Thorson Tanya completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree at the Lincoln School of Health Sciences ofLatrobe University. She currently offers Physiotherapy Services part time at the Leongatha practice; she has a post-graduate certificate in continence and pelvic floor rehabilitation, and has experience in assessing and treating women and men with continence and pelvic floor issues. Tanya enjoys a country lifestyle, raising her family in the South Gippsland Region.
Meg Crawford Meg is a 2019 graduate from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Masters of Physiotherapy. Meg is a former Gold Coast resident and is making the change to rural Victoria in pursuit of a quieter, community based lifestyle. As a runner and netball player Meg’s main area of interest lies in treating lower back pain along with lower limb sporting injuries. Balance and mobility issues in the elderly is a related interest of Meg’s. Meg is a veteran traveller with Machu Picchu being one of her favourite destinations, and is happy to throw in some holiday tips free of charge during a consultation.
Marlee Taing Marlee graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy. Marlee’s special interests are in women’s health, sports injuries and treating musculoskeletal injuries. Marlee is a former Gold Coast resident who has chosen to move to Gippsland in pursuit of a quieter life. Having done gymnastics in her teens, she now undertakes yoga and Pilates for relaxation, as well as road cycling.
