Meet the Team


Rob Brownlow


Rob obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Charles Sturt University in Orange, NSW. Rob relocated from Newcastle after being offered a position with Gippsland Physiotherapy Group, and is currently dividing his time between our Traralgon and Leongatha practices.

Rob has extensive experience in Sports and Musculoskeletal conditions, as well as injuries resulting from severe trauma. Rob has been involved as a Physiotherapist at many National and International sports events including the 2017-2020 Gymnastics World Cup, 2019 Gymnastics National Championships, 2019 Gymnastics Victoria Championships, 2018 Commonwealth GamesIRONMAN Asia-Pacific Championships and the Australian Country Junior Basketball Championships. He has also worked for multiple sporting organisations including the Women’s VFL, International Basketball Federation – Oceania Region, NSW Basketball, VIC Netball and VIC Softball.

Rob’s further qualifications include Sports Level 1 & 2, Dry Needling, Clinical Pilates, Drug and Alcohol Testing and Workplace Assessments. Rob enjoys mentoring new graduate physiotherapists as part of his role and regularly educates physiotherapy students seeking further experience.

Rob enjoys playing tennis and walking his border collies down by the beach. He is an avid supporter of the Melbourne Football ClubMelbourne Storm and the Wallabies.


Jun Sheng Soong


Jun is a Monash University alum hailing from Malaysia, having graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). His professional interests involve sports rehabilitation and is looking forward to developing a rapport with the local community.

Outside of work, Jun is an avid sports fan, following the AFL (mainly Richmond), NBA (the Toronto Raptors) and tennis (with his favourite player being Kei Nishikori). Jun is also a self-described foodie and coffee aficionado.



Marlee Taing


Marlee graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy. Marlee’s professional interests are in women’s health, sports injuries and treating musculoskeletal injuries.

Marlee is a former Gold Coast resident who has chosen to move to Gippsland in pursuit of a quieter life. Having done gymnastics in her teens, she now undertakes yoga and Pilates for relaxation, as well as road cycling.


Tanya Thorson


Tanya completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree at the Lincoln School of Health Sciences of Latrobe University.

She currently offers Physiotherapy Services part-time at the Leongatha practice; she has a post-graduate certificate in incontinence and pelvic floor rehabilitation and has experience in assessing and treating women and men with continence and pelvic floor issues.

Tanya enjoys a country lifestyle, raising her family in the South Gippsland Region.


William Lenehan


William has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Charles Sturt University in Albury.

William has been working with the Gippsland Physiotherapy Group for the past 2 years, where he has worked with chronic pain, acute injuries, neurological conditions, and Pilates based treatment; however, his professional interests are in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries rehabilitation. Dry needling is one of his areas of expertise.

Having grew up along the coast in South West Victoria, William he enjoys keeping fit, surfing, and playing AFL in his spare time.
