Scott Lindsay (Director) – Physiotherapist
Scott graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. After relocating from New Zealand to Warragul with his wife, he has spent the last six years working for Gippsland Physiotherapy Group and playing football for the Warragul Industrials. Needless to say, management of sporting injuries is an area of interest for Scott, with the use of manual treatment, dry needling, and exercise prescription his primary tools in returning clients to full capacity. Scott is always interested in the latest evidence and treatments to aid his own development as well the clinical mentoring of graduate physiotherapists, Scott’s recent courses include Advanced Dry Needling, Lyn Watson Shoulder Course, The Sporting Lower Limb, Advanced Knee and Lower Limb in Sport, and Advanced Upper Limb in Sport.
Mark Alcock (Director) – Physiotherapist
Mark joined the company in 2014 after completing his training at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Since joining he has also become a director of the company in 2016. He has a keen interest in sports injuries and is connected to a local football/netball club during the winter months. His interest in sports physiotherapy has also meant he has worked for the AGL Loy Yang ITF Junior Tennis Tournament in Traralgon. Mark is also returning to university part-time this year to begin his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy. Despite often treating injuries he is passionate about preventing them too by identifying issues and managing them before they become injuries. Mark prides himself on keeping up to date with the latest physiotherapy evidence to provide the best care possible for his clients.
Henry-George Emery (Director) – Physiotherapist
Henry obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago. His area of special interests include Lower back and neck pain including headache treatment and management. He also has a keen interest in biomechanical abnormalities in the lower limb and how they affect the hip, knee and foot. Since moving to Australia Henry has jumped right into AFL and has always had a keen interest in cricket, especially when the Black Caps are beating Australia.
Janelle Bailey – Physiotherapist
Janelle has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from James Cook University. She has special interests in sport injuries having been a sports trainer at her local senior’s rugby club. Janelle is also interested in headaches/neck pain as well as clinical Pilates. Janelle grew up on the Atherton Tablelands and her favourite NRL teams are the Northern Cowboys and Brisbane Broncos, but a switch in code is on the cards now that she’s made the move – she’s open to client suggestions! Janelle enjoys exploring the outdoors whether it be hiking, camping or going to the beach to catch up with friends. Janelle will also be offering Clinical Pilates at our PilatesChoice studio at 78 Smith St Warragul.
Ebony Axford – Physiotherapist
Ebony obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy Advanced – Research (Honours) at Monash University Victoria. She grew up playing basketball every night of the week, competing for Victoria on occasions. She has now turned her interests to snow sports, which include acute injuries and helping people return to their passions, because it’s an area she is very determined about. She has previously worked as a snowboard instructor and hopes to be a physiotherapist on a snow resort sometime in the future. Ebony will also be offering Clinical Pilates at our PilatesChoice studio at 78 Smith St Warragul.
Tarnia Cummings – Physiotherapist
Tarnia obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at Monash University. She is interested in all areas of physiotherapy, but has a particular interest in treating lower back and neck pain. Utilising a combination of manual therapy and exercise prescription. Tarnia grew up playing netball in the south eastern suburbs, and is looking to continue playing in the local area. Since moving to Gippsland Tarnia enjoys being outdoors; hiking, bush walking and bike riding. She also likes to spend her holidays camping, with the Victorian high country being her favourite area.
Rachel Bickerdike – Physiotherapist
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from Monash University. Rachel is a West Gippsland Native and currently participates in sports training with a local football and netball club. She has a love for all sports. She plays competitive tennis, and is a former gymnast and gymnastics coach.
With a strong sports focus in her life, Rachel has a keen interest in sports physiotherapy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and Clinical Pilates.
Elke Smith – Physiotherapist
Elke holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master’s of Physiotherapy from Latrobe University.
Elke has a strong interest in Women’s Health and Clinical Pilates.
She has recently relocated to Gippsland coming from Northern Victoria and looks forward to getting out and exploring what the region has to offer. She is a keen horse rider and netballer and a loyal supporter of the Melbourne Football Club.
Brittany Bourne – Physiotherapist
Brittany holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University (ACU) in North Sydney.
Brittany is strongly interested in Women’s Health, mostly pre- and post-natal aspects of pregnancy. She is also interested in clinical Pilates, paediatric physiotherapy and patients in neuro-rehabilitation.
Brittany is 1 of 5 children who was born and raised in Sydney, NSW. She currently plays netball and enjoys training at the gym, Pilates and yoga. She loves Trekking and she completed the Everest base camp circuit in Nepal just a few years ago. She has always wanted to be and still wishes to be Roger Federer’s Physiotherapist.
Caleb Fisher – Massage Therapist
Caleb completed his Certificate 4 in Relaxation massage, and his Diploma of Remedial Massage both at Federation Training Morwell/Traralgon. He has special interests in and loves to work on muscular injuries of the neck as well as the upper thoracic region and the arms. Caleb comes from a family of 7 children, he is the 5th. He was home-schooled and grew up on a farm in Devon North until 2012, where he moved to Drouin and commenced high school at Chairo Christian School.
Kathryn Licitra – Administration
Kathryn has over 3 years’ experience in hospitality and customer service roles, she strives to provide exceptional customer service as well as helping people with their enquiries. In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching Netflix. She is the youngest of 2 girls from a family that values hard work and ambition. She has a close relationship with her Nonna, who has taught her many recipes and how to crochet.
Chelsea Verbeek – Administration
Chelsea is currently undertaking a Business Administration Traineeship, providing reception and administration support. Chelsea is particularly interested in engaging with customers and providing them with a friendly service. She has three sisters, who are all younger than her. Chelsea likes being able to spend quality time with her family and friends doing things like roller-skating, watching movies, going on holidays and most of all boating. Her hobbies include jet-skiing, travelling, reading, baking and recently she has gotten into farming.
