Kago Mantata – Physiotherapist

Kago has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago, New Zealand. He has a special interest in sports physiotherapy, dry needling and clinical Pilates. Kago was born and raised in Botswana and moved to New Zealand after high school to pursue his career in Physiotherapy. After moving to Australia and starting with Gippsland Physiotherapy Group, Kago has started following the AFL, and barracks for Collingwood as they won the first game he watched. He loves and plays indoor soccer and supports Melbourne Victory in the A-League




Frazer Ryan (Director) – Physiotherapist

Frazer has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, his special interests include sports rehabilitation, lower back pain, dry needling and hydrotherapy.  Frazer also has a vested interest in occupational rehabilitation, he recently presented his honours project on this topic at the 2017 World Congress of Physical Therapy in South Africa.  He is hopeful to continue his research into the musculoskeletal health of the working population and translate this into clinical rehabilitation of injured workers.

Frazer was born and raised in Queensland he relocated with his wife in 2016 to commence his career with Gippsland Physiotherapy Group.  He loves the outdoors, fishing, four wheel driving and plays football at a local level.  Being from QLD, he is a loyal Brisbane Lions supporter.



Samuel King – Physiotherapist

Sam hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University in Sydney and is excited to have relocated to escape city life and join the Gippsland Community.

Sam is a competing Triathlete and as such, this has developed his passion for sports physiotherapy, strength and conditioning and all musculoskeletal conditions.





Rachel Bickerdike – Physiotherapist

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from Monash University. Rachel is a West Gippsland Native and is currently the physiotherapist for her local football and netball club. She has a love for all sports. She plays competitive tennis, and is a former gymnast and gymnastics coach.

With a strong sports focus in her life, Rachel has a keen interest in sports physiotherapy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and Clinical Pilates.






Melissa Telfer – Physiotherapist

Melissa holds an Associate of Science Degree from North Texas College and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology and Pre-Med from the Alabama State University in the United States. Upon returning to Australia, she completed a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Physiotherapy from Latrobe University.

As a keen tennis player, Melissa was fortunate to study in America on a Tennis Scholarship and is still a competitive player to this day. As such she has a very strong interest in shoulder related injuries and return to sports rehabilitation programs.





Rebecca Mann – Physiotherapist

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Physiotherapy from Latrobe University.

Rebecca has strong interests in Musculoskeletal (in particular shoulder and knee injuries), Orthopaedics, Sports Physiotherapy.

Rebecca is a world class Kayaker and has represented Australia in world championships on several occasions in both sprint and marathon disciplines.

Julie has a Diploma of Remedial Massage and offers treatments at the Moe Practice.
Julie loves her role at Gippsland physiotherapy Group as it provides her with opportunity to work alongside other health professionals. She is able to improve her own knowledge and experience by doing so, and incorporates this learning into her role as a massage therapist.






Carrie Clark – Massage Therapist

Carrie completed qualifications in Myotherapy and Massage Therapy in the late 90’s and has been working in the industry ever since.  She has worked with Gippsland Physiotherapy Group since 2012.
Carrie divides her time between work and loved ones, enjoying her family life.

Tracy has been employed as an Administration Team Member since 1996, and worked in the practice before it became Gippsland Physiotherapy Group.
Tracy loves her job and enjoys the interaction with staff and clientele, alike.
As much as she enjoys her work, she also loves a good holiday!
